WALL·E
월-E
- Eco Apocalypse Now
Synopsis | After humans have depleted the earth and left, Wall-E is left alone and to clean up trash endlessly like the routine of Sisyphus. One day, he goes with EVE, a robot that visits Earth, to a starliner carrying humans and an adventure to return the seed of life to Earth begins. Wall-E illustrates the infinite desire to consume of human beings and issues a stern warning about the reckless waste of resources. As we imagine a wasteland covered with trash and humans that have turned into shapeless blobs that are powerless, paradoxically, we take a cold hard look at our reality. |
