Synopsis | After it had been designated as the ecosystem conservation area, the government has started maintaining Upo by law. Even the native people are not allowed to go into it. Is this law the best way to keep the wetland? What should be the way for the wetland to coexist with its people? |

SHIN Seong-Yong 신성용
He studied film at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. Upon finishing school, he directed
and filmed a number of visual art work including shorts and feature-length films,
feature-length documentaries and music videos. He worked on filmmaker SONG
Il-Gon’s feature Flower Island as a director’s assistant, and a Jindo unit camera
team member for filmmaker PARK Ki-Bok’s documentary Mudang-Reconciliation
Between the Living And the Dead. He also produced a number of music videos and
various visual works.
