|Synopsis||The Spirit of the Ganga highlights the journey of a 18-year old environmental activist, Sumair Handa Bakshi and his youth-led organisation that has been working for the last 5 years to save the critically endangered aquatic species that reside in the Ganges. In a quest to strengthen the movement and advocate for youth participation, the film traces Sumair’s conversations with experts, key decision makers and influencers as he tries to deconstruct the causes, effects and magnitude of the problem whilst also proposing solutions to rejuvenate a river that supports the lives of millions of Indians.|
