Synopsis | Sebastião SALGADO has always been there with his camera on in the scenes of the most tragic and deadliest wars and famines in human history. Searching for a dim light of hope, he began planting trees. He chose to restore our faith in humanity by saving nature and eventually grew a miraculous forest of 2.5 million trees. The Salt of the Earth is a film unveiling the story of a great master of photography who never stops taking pictures and planting trees even at this very moment. |
