Synopsis | Tim and borders do not exist wherever painter KIM Nam-Pyo goes. When he shuts his eyes, summer turns to winter, and winter to summer. He is mystified by a young girl and a woman who hovers around him no matter where he is at. By the time this rare temporal and spatial experience comes to an end, he discovers himself transferring the image of the woman and an animal to canvas. A visual realization of the creative process of surrealist painter KIM Nam-Pyo’s who finds the overlapped images from nature, civilization, humans and animals. |

MIN Byung-Hun 민병훈
He received his B.A. and M.A. in Cinematography at The Russian State University of Cinematography(VGIK). He made his directorial debut with The Flight Of The Bee (1998) which grabbed awards at numerous international film festivals. After finishing I’m Feng (2015), he is currently preparing the first edition of his 3-part human melodrama essay series by the title Essay in New York. He is also developing Essay in Paris and Essay in Beijing as well.
