| Synopsis | THE HUNTER is a haunting stop motion sand animation by emerging director Marieka Walsh. A young boy goes missing in the wilderness, feared taken by wolves, a hunter undertakes a journey to find the missing boy; dead or alive. The boy had been known to initiate contact with the wolves and it was thought that he was too free with the wild creatures. As the hunter tracks the boy into the mountains, his natural instincts betray him as primal fear takes over, and in the hunter’s most vulnerable moment, he must make decisions that question everything he has always believed. |
