HARA Kazuo was Born in June 1945, Ube City. He studied Photography before work at a special education school, where he developed an intense interest in the world of disabled children. His films include Goodbye CP (1972), EXTREME PRIVATE EROS: LOVE SONG 1974 (1974), the award winning The Emperor's Naked Army Marches On (1987) and A Dedicated Life (1994).
