- 액션! 지구를 지켜라
Synopsis | HOMEGROWN REVOLUTION is a short introduction to a homegrown project that has been called a new revolution in urban sustainability. In the midst of a densely urban setting in downtown Pasadena, radical change is taking root. For over twenty years, the Dervaes family have been transforming their home into an urban homestead and model for sustainable agriculture and city living. Calling this project “Path to Freedom,” the Dervaes family shows that change is possible—one step at a time. They harvest 2,720 kilos of organic food annually from their 405 square-meter garden, while incorporating many back-to-basics practices, solar energy and biodiesel in order to reduce their footprint on the earth’s resources. This film follows the footsteps of one man and his family on a journey to change their world and, along the way, inspires and encourages others to take a first step toward a sustainable future—right in their own backyards. |
