Synopsis The electronic waste from other countries was transported to a small town in China. Many migrant workers there decompose and recycle nearly 2 million tons of e-waste each year. / For more than twenty years, tons and tons of metallic and electronic waste from Japan, USA, Australia but also from Europe and other countries was transported to a chinese town called Fengjiang, in the south of Shanghai. Heap of metal of all kinds began to form disturbing reliefs within the townscape. / More than twenty years ago,the electronic waste from Japan,USA, Australia and other countries was transported to a small town called Fengjiang.Around 50 thousand migrant workers from poverty-stricken parts of mid-west China formed an e-waste dismantling army.They decompose and recycle nearly 2 million tons of e-waste each year with the most primitive methods.The film telling the family of workers Zhang and Qiu-xia’s story to survival, hearing their moans and sighs.They work hard to purchase their dreams, but living accompanied disease,even death.
