| Synopsis | Cranks, which is a bike repair shop run by volunteers in Brighton, UK, has something different. Even though it is just a sort of small workshop, it has a variety of political and economic meanings, such as volunteering, the environment, consumer culture and capitalism. In this respect, the film shows how Cranks plays a role in the society as an alternative of consumer culture causing destruction of the environment through a number of interviews with cranks at Cranks. |
