| Synopsis | This film focuses on a family living in El Salto, a city on one of Mexico’s most heavily polluted rivers: the Rio Santiago. The film follows Sofia, her mother Graciela and her father Enrique as they work with other members of their community to fight for environmental justice and an end to the toxic pollution being caused by industry. |

Director, editor and cinematographer. His film, Tropic of Cancer, a naturalistic portrait of the struggle for survival of the families by hunting animals in the desert of San Luis Potosí, Mexico won numerous awards worldwide including GFFIS Grand Prize winner in 2005. In 2007 he created Tecolote Films, a Mexican independent production company, and produces various films.
