Hope in the Time of Climate Crisis

While accelerating climate change causes sudden disasters like torrential rain and forest fire, the slow climate disasters happening in unrecognizable speed gradually impoverishes our lives. We need bigger wisdom and courage to face the invisible threats. But depressing prospects and resignation pervade as many don’t realize the magnitude of the issue. Can the humans overcome the climate crisis? We seek for an answer from ‘Hope in the Time of Climate Crisis’ section.

How can one plan a future on the droughted land? The villagers of a town in Niger, Africa join hands to pump up the underground water (Above Water), a farmer sets out on a trip to persuade people in the US who deny the climate change (The Ants and the Grasshopper). You can also meet the people who file a lawsuit against the government who allows oil drilling in the Arctic Ocean (Norwegian Headache) and the people who contemplate on how to revive ecosystem looking at melting Siberian permafrost (Pleistocene Park, Holgut).
